2023 Region 3 ROMA UPDATE Registration

Region 3 State Community Action Associations and the Regional Performance and Innovation Consortium (RPIC) in collaboration with the Association of Nationally Certified ROMA Trainers and Implementers (ANCRT) is presenting a ROMA Update Training to be held in person for the first time since 2019!!
This session is an In-service Continuing Education Program alternative.

ROMA UPDATE for Nationally Certified ROMA Trainers, Implementers and Advocates in Region III
(DC, DE, MD, PA, VA and WV)

Workshop Topics: Implementing ROMA Throughout the Cycle
The outcome we expect from having Nationally Certified ROMA Professionals in our network is the improvement of agency capacity to achieve results. This training is designed to help you think about your role and how you can be an influence for putting performance management to work to achieve quality outputs and outcomes. You will hear from peers about how they are helping to implement good ROMA practices and then have the opportunity to network and brainstorm what you will do to improve your agency's performance management in the coming year.

The Region 3 ROMA Update will be held
Monday and Tuesday August 7 and 8, 2023
At the George Washington Hotel, Winchester, VA

Schedule: Monday Aug. 7 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM;
Tuesday Aug 8 from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM
This schedule was designed to allow participants to travel in on Monday and home on Tuesday.

Cost: The Region 3 State Community Action Associations are supporting this event so there will be no registration fee for ROMA Professionals to attend. Participants will be responsible for their own travel expenses.

Lodging: We have arranged to have 50 sleeping rooms the evening of Aug. 7 at the federal per diem rate of $98.00.
Each participant will have to contact the hotel directly to secure lodging.
To make lodging reservations, call the hotel at 540-678-4700 and be sure to say that you want to be included in the block called ROMA. A credit card guarantee or an advance deposit is required to hold each individual reservation.
The "Cut Off Date" for the block of rooms is 5:00 PM July 7, 2023.
After the first 50 rooms are taken, other rooms will be available at their standard rate and there are several other hotels within a short distance that may have the lower rate.
