Clint Cottam grew up in St. George where he lived most of his life and recently served as Director of Community Action at Five County Associations of Governments - working with food, transportation, asset development, and housing programs, before joining CAP Utah as Executive Director. This was a unique opportunity to learn from great mentors in urban and rural communities. Clint graduated with a BA in European Studies from BYU and a MPA from Indiana University's School of Public and Environmental Affairs. He is also an AmeriCorps alumnus and has experience in criminal justice, youth diversion, and service-learning initiatives. Clint is married to his wife Kathryn and they have three children.

BS in Business Administration from CSU Stainislauis. MS in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University. 12 years in education both as an instructor (high school marketing and as an administrator). 7 years in Community Action at CAPSLO first as a grant writer than as Program Manager for their Veteran Services Program (SSVF). Provided numerous trainings to various CAPS across the nation. Played important role in CAPSLO applying for, working towards, and receiving the Award for Excellence. Provide initial overview of ROMA to all new hires at CAPSLO. Provide ROMA training for board members. Facilitate and conduct classroom instruction for NCRT candidates. Review portfolios and facilitate and conduct Phase 2 trainings for NCRI candidates.
